Human’s Can Lick Too
Once there was a beautiful young girl who lived in a small town just south of Farmersburg. Her parents had to go to town for a while, so they left their daughter home alone, but protected by her dog, which was a very large collie. The parents told the girl to lock all the windows and doors after they had left and she obeyed her parent’s wishes, but there was one window in the basement that would not close completely. She tried as best as she could and she finally got the window shut, but it would not lock. She went back upstairs, but just to make sure that no one could get in, she put the dead-bolt lock on the basement door. She had some dinner, watched a … Read entire article »

Poor Richard Gere
Several years ago, “they” say, Mr. Gere was admitted into the emergency room of a Los Angeles hospital with a gerbil lodged in his rectum. Gere was alone when he arrived, some say, or with a partner (e.g., former girlfriend Cindy Crawford) according to others. It took a whole team of surgeons to extract the animal from Gere’s posterior. Some variants say the gerbil was found to have been shaven and declawed; others claim the animal had been placed in a special plastic pouch. And some say the poor creature was Gere’s own beloved pet, aptly named “Tibet.” In any case, when the surgery was finally done the medical team was sworn to secrecy (unsuccessfully, we must conclude) and Gere went on his merry way, suffering no permanent damage other than … Read entire article »

Hormones in Cow’s Milk
Please read this and pass along to as many people…. Mitzi Lyons and her husband Kyle live here in Gainesville. Their daughter Marissa has had menstrual problems, bleeding every day for three years and within the last year she started producing milk. They have performed tests, surgery and put her on birth control without success. They were considering giving the girl a hysterectomy in January, but Mitzi’s Dad started doing research on the internet about his granddaughter’s problem. He found out that farmers were injecting rBST (hormones) into cows so that they would produce more milk. Wal-Mart sells Great Value milk, which contains rBST and is the kind that the Lyons family always drank. Her parents stopped giving Marissa Great Value milk 3 months ago and she has since … Read entire article »

Fallen Baby
In the town of Wentzeville, MO. it is said that in the early 1800′s a young mother rode her horse into town with her infant son in a sling on her back. She stayed to late in town and it was past dark when she set out to return home. As she made her way home, the sky clouded over and she could hear distant thunder as a storm approached. The road was very dark without the moonlight and she began to notice rustling noises coming from the darkness all around her. The girl began to look over her shoulder in panic as she became more and more aware of how alone she was. As the chills crawled up her spine, she hoped that the child wouldn’t sense her … Read entire article »

Saved by the Vest
While cooking dinner one night, Aunt G. opened the cupboard. She intended to pull out some flour, but instead she received a nasty surprise. A python jumped out at her. She slammed the cabinet, and with lightning speed, all three hundred pounds of her made it down the street to a neighbor in less than thirty seconds. From there she called the police. When the cops arrived on the scene, one of them opened that same cabinet. The snake again lashed out, but this time succeeded in making contact with the officer’s chest. Luckily however, it sunk its teeth into a mouthful of bullet proof vest. He then slung it to the ground, step on it’s head, and chopped it off. After a brief investigation, it was discovered that the … Read entire article »

Coat Shopper
A woman went to a coat discount store to buy a new winter coat. She browsed through the latest styles and found a coat that she thought might look nice. She took it off the hanger and tried it on. She enjoyed the feel of the coat, and she thought she would buy it. The woman walked to the mirror and admired herself, turning slowly. When she reached the mirror she posed, turned in a circle and put her hands in the pockets. Suddenly, she felt something sharp pierce her hand and she yelped out in pain. She thought that the sharp object must have been a security tag and she brought her belongings to the front of the store and approached the registers. Minutes later, while on the checkout … Read entire article »

The Bunny Man Bridge
After the civil war Fairfax County, Virginia became more populated and eventually an insane asylum was built there. No one wanted to live near the asylum and because of the public outrage the institution was shut down. The administration transferred the patients and in 1904 the process was completed. During the transfer, some of the patients escaped and hid in the surrounding woods and forest. These individuals were lost, delusional and dangerous. Most of them were found except Marcus Lawster and Douglas Griffen. The local authorities found a trail they believed belonged to them, littered with half eaten mutilated bunnies. The trail led deep into the woods to a tunnel bridge crossing a wide creek. There they found Marcus hanging from the tunnel entrance. There was a note attached to his foot … Read entire article »
