Corpse in the Fun House
You shouldn’t play with dead things. A group of kids decided to spend a night inside a fun house so after the fair closes and everybody leaves, they break inside. It’s full of the usual thrills and chills and things designed to terrify the children and adults who venture inside. The macabre maze makes it difficult for the group of kids to get around and eventually among the startling surprises they come across a hanging corpse. Fun House Replacement
Brian was crazy about the carnival. He went to see it every summer it came to his town and he had never missed a year. He knew every ride and attraction by heart: the Ferris wheel, the gypsy fortune teller, the shooting gallery, throw a dart and get a poster game, even the freak show – but Brian’s favorite attraction was the funhouse. He could always spot it from the midway: a black building that looked like a clutter of giant shoe boxes of different sizes lying end to end. The weather-beaten, black exterior was decorated with garish drawings of victims being chased by all sorts of creatures into the mouth of hell. The Merry Go Round
The man who owned the Merry Go Round decided to close it down because he didn’t have enough customers coming to the amusement park where he held the ride. Instead of buying the owner out, the park simply boarded up the carousel and this part of the park became very much abandoned for a number of years. Some ten years after the ride was closed, the original owner’s daughter thought it was a shame to have the beautiful Merry Go Round boarded up and forgotten in this manner. She and her boyfriend decided to bring some publicity to the park and to the ride and reopen the carousel. The boyfriend was going to set a record and ride the Merry Go Round for 72 hours straight.
