Kentucky Fried What?

Kentucky Fried What? When people eat at KFC do they really know what they are eating? During a recent study of KFC done at the University of New Hampshire, they found some very upsetting facts.

First of all, has anybody noticed that just recently, the company has changed their name? Kentucky Fried Chicken has become KFC. Does anybody know why? We thought the real reason was because of the "FRIED" food issue. It’s not. The reason why they call it KFC is because they can not use the word chicken anymore. Why? KFC does not use real chickens. They actually use genetically manipulated organisms.

These so called "chickens" are kept alive by tubes inserted into their bodies to pump blood and nutrients throughout their structure. They have no beaks, no feathers, and no feet. Their bone structure is dramatically shrunk to get more meat out of them. This is great for KFC because they do not have to pay so much for their production costs. There is no more plucking of the feathers or the removal of the beaks and feet.

The government has told them to change all of their menus so they do not say chicken anywhere. If you look closely you will notice this. Listen to their commercials, I guarantee you will ot see or hear the word chicken.

I find this matter to be very disturbing. I hope people will start to realize this and let other people know. Please forward this message to as many people as you can. Together we make KFC start using real chicken again.

“New chicken littles” emphasis on chicken. op doesn’t do enouh research. although the little part could refer to them being smaller, because of no feet, beaks, ect. still don’t believe it though.

Yup, I’m sure you are right. This urban legend was collected by http://urbanlegendsonline.com back in 2004 and posted on our site. Unless otherwise stated, the legends on this site are not posted as true facts. Thanks for playing!

  3. Honeyandherbees. says:

Yeahh, so if they apparently can’t ever mention chicken how come its in their name (Kentucky Fried CHICKEN) <<
That would be the best false advertisement if they really didnt use chickens but clues in the name.

    • Can you not read or can you not read? The article is referring to the fact that they don’t use real chickens so they can’t call themselves Kentucky Fried CHICKEN. It has nothing to do about the word “Chicken” used in the names of food items, it’s about the word “Chicken” in their business name. That’s why they officially changed their name to KFC and no longer use Kentucky Fried Chicken. Please refer to the second paragraph of this article.

Lol in australia the ads on tv say ‘we use 100% real ingums chicken’ lol

  5. They didnt change their name at all, its still Kentucky Fried Chicken, just abbreviated, and its cheaper to have just three letters than spell out “Kentucky Fried Chicken” and they use 100% real chicken, its just the way they treat the chickens thats total bullshit

  6. BLT says:

Please note: its not real unless it says so at the top! (dummiez)

  7. Fazin says:

I Hope That Wont Happen With Popeyes Cause I Like Popeyes Better Than KFC , honestly.

  10. Lol wow thats jUst nasty ..if it is real !! But i wouldnt know because im a VEGETARIAN !! Vegetarians save animals ….save animals with us peOple :D !!! LOL

    • kitty says:

ahhh but do u save the vegies they are living organisums aswell u idiot

    • Vegetarians save animals? That’s not true, especially if we all became vegetarians. So now you’re eating all of the omnivores food, making it scarce for them to find the food they need to eat. With less food for them they will die. With more people becoming vegetarian, they are taking the food that the animals need and giving to us, then replacing the animals food with processed chemicals. Therefore, you are not saving animals, you are making it harder for them to survive. They will start to die off from the lack of food, cancer and mutations from processed chemicals they think is food. What do you think would happen if we ALL became vegetarians? The animal kingdom we know would become over populated and we would have to kill them anyways. People need to eat meat, as it is essential for the growth of the body, there is fine line of checks and balances in the food chain.

    • Dontjudgeme says:

Being a vegetarian is meaner in a way… You’re just making the animals die for no purpose. All the animals would be killed for nothing if more people were vegetarian.

    Does KFC Use Real Chickens?

KFC has been a part of our American traditions for many years. Many people, day in and day out, eat at KFC religiously. Do they really know what they are eating? During a recent study of KFC done at the University of New Hampshire, they found some very upsetting facts.

Editors Note: No truth at all. KFC has been the target of other legends in the past and this is yet another one

  18. An Awesome Girl Named Shelby says:

Puking Right Now Gross just the thought of it even tho it might not be true! or is it??????

  19. caleb jarrard says:

the odds of this being true are slimmer than Slim Shady. listen to any (any) KFC commercial and I am willing to bet it will say ‘chicken’. and vegans aren’t any better off, there food comes from the ground and is given herbicides, pesticides, hormones, etc. next time you go to KFC post whether or not the leg bones are frail and thin, or thick and firm

  20. EmilyTheStrange says:

I love KFC. I’m still gonna eat there.
